Standard Delivery
Standard Delivery – 5–12 business days (delivery window 8:00–18:00) All UK mainland addresses are eligible. From a minimum of 5 working days after placing your purchase, you can request a weekday delivery date in the comment box (excluding weekends and holidays). If no preference is specified, your order will be processed automatically for delivery in 5 – 12 working days, which will be verified to you via email. Delivery dates can be pushed back up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery Wherever possible, delivery dates are adhered to. If this cannot be met, a member of our customer care team will call you to set up a new date and time that is more convenient for you. Customers are advised not to appoint a skirting board fitter until they have received their order and are satisfied with it. Please note that because we employ a third-party courier, we will dispatch products on time for them to arrive as advertised. However, we understand that we may not always be able to deliver within the time frame specified, and we cannot be held liable in such cases. 3–4 working days (delivery slot 8:00–18:00) Express Delivery (This service is now unavailable.) Your order will be delivered 3-4 working days after it is completed — the cut-off time is 12 p.m., and orders received after this time will be handled the next day. IMPORTTANT:
Wherever possible, the delivery schedule is followed, and deliveries are normally completed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Access allowing delivery is to a ground floor site and is a one-man, curbside only delivery. Due to the fact that this is a one-man service, heavier things may necessitate additional assistance to aid the driver with unloading. Your order will be delivered by one of our vehicles or a courier service. The couriers will not be able to contact you before delivering your things.
Delivery Method
Every order is delivered by a specially chosen courier. Each method of transport is fully equipped to handle all of our products. It is your responsibility to advise us of any vehicle access issues or restrictions to the property that may affect delivery. We currently provide delivery for 90% of the UK, with the rest soon to follow. Terms and Conditions of Delivery
Although we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time, deliveries are normally delivered between the hours of 8:00 and 6:00. Please inspect the quality of your product when it is delivered and sign only if you are completely pleased. If your goods arrive damaged, please make a note of it when taking delivery and contact our sales office at 01384265395. We will make every effort to rectify any issues as fast as possible. You will be asked to send photos of your skirting boards via email so that we can remedy the issue as quickly as possible.
Before signing for any deliveries, make sure they are free of damage. We may only repair goods that have been signed for as damaged; damage claims filed more than 24 hours after delivery will not be considered. If you are okay for the courier to leave your items in a safe area if no one is available to accept delivery, please make sure to inform the sales office or leave a remark on your purchase when placing it. Without a signature on delivery, all deliveries are made at the risk of the buyer, and we are unable to handle any claim with our delivery partners for damages. It is the obligation of the customer to be present at the delivery address on the agreed-upon delivery date.
If you do not notify us that you will be absent and no other arrangements have been made, the products will be left without signature in a secure location (we will not be held liable for any damages) or returned to the local delivery depot for redelivery. THE CUSTOMER WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY RE-DELIVERY FEES. Please note that because we utilise a third-party courier, we will dispatch products on time for them to arrive as advertised. However, we understand that we may not be able to deliver within the set time frame in all cases, and we cannot be held liable in such cases. Please note that once the goods have been delivered and we have determined that there is a POD from the courier, we will not consider claims. Claims for non-delivery or POD disputes should be sent to info@skirting4less.co.uk, and we will submit it to our courier for a comprehensive answer. Cancellation of goods is free of charge if standard deliveries are cancelled.
